ASLA Newsletter – February 2017

2017 is in full swing with training events at UCLA for medical professionals through Project AutTrain, and ongoing training of our law enforcement professionals though an ASLA team at the LAPD.

The Self-Advocate’s Speakers Bureau (SASB) is launching in the Valley for adults of all disabilities over 18 years old. If you are an adult with a disability who likes to speak in front of audiences to create acceptance of differences, please see the flyer below.

The ASLA “Caring Parent Connection” (CPC). Calling all parents of children across all disabilities, from newly diagnosed through to elementary age children. Join us to connect with other parents to share, support and collaborate. (see flyer below for RSVP details)
